In March of 2010, a small group of AA people started thinking of opening an Alano Club in Menomonie, Wisconsin. We incorporated and rented a small space, about 150 sq. ft.  Funds from a previous attempt along with donations from O.K. H., Bill M., Michelle M., Muriel B., and Christine M. helped with expenses as the early months went by. We soon outgrew that space and rented another.  That, too, became too small as people discovered the Club and requested more and more recovery-oriented meetings.  We began a Building Fund campaign and sought donations.  So many people were so generous!

Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors, we now have our own building.  On July 23, 2014, we opened our doors at 105 21st St. N., Menomonie, for Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA),  Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA), and Gamblers Anonymous (GA) meetings.
